Introduction
Ours is a small church nestled in the bush at the west end of the Warrandyte township. We're situated in Taroona Ave, opposite the skate park and Goldfields shopping centre.
Each Sunday about 50 to 60 people gather to worship God with singing, drama, prayer, storytelling and a message based on the bible. All ages are represented from young babies to the over 80's.
Our congregation brings many talents to God's work, and offers a huge welcome to anyone who would like to come and join us.
In response to the longing for peace in our society, we have developed our building and surrounding gardens as a place for peaceful and spiritual reflection for the entire community. As part of this project, we have designed and installed a mosaic for our most prominent outside wall, with the theme 'peace with God, peace with each other, peace with the earth'.Services: Sunday 10.15am
Vision Statement
We, the Uniting Church in Warrandyte, are a diverse group who come together to worship God, celebrating his presence in our lives and seeking to develop a closer relationship with him.
Centred in Christ, we will grow in faith and share his love with others:
- By inclusive worship that inspires our faith and our living.
- By finding ways to spread the good news of Jesus and to assist people worldwide especially those in need.
- By communicating with each other and throughout the wider community.
- By supporting and caring for one another.
- By providing opportunities for Christian growth and education for our members in all age groups
By nurturing and encouraging our youth to explore their faith in free & creative ways.
- By managing our physical and financial resources to support the activities of the congregation.
